Real Facts

We scheduled a free inspection for the customer and our inspector arrived. He was doing his inspection and was granted access by the owner, Bree, shortly after she confronted him and wanted identification. He wears a company shirt and has a company provided tablet and equipment. She mentioned that he was in an unmarked car and also wanted to be sure who he was. He told her that while we do not have company ID's that he could identify himself with all the company software, access to clients, scheduling etc for the company but she refused and only wanted his drivers license. His drivers license would not verify he worked for us if she was not accepting of all the other things he displayed or offered. He was uncomfortable with providing his personal information so he declined which she asked him to leave. That is fine and her choice, however I messaged her to follow up and just let her know sorry we weren't able to help her since she turned him away. She then went on a long rant on how it's unprofessional. The same day she left us a 1 star review stating "Lack professionalism. Had to ask the representative to leave my home as they refused to show any form of identification"

This customer never once tried to call the office to verify, allow our employee to verify himself or anything and only insisted on him providing his drivers license. It seemed to be a form of discrimination of our employee. I recommend to stay away from this homeowner - unless of course you have a company ID. I think the fact that she wants to get irate and disrespectful to our employee, rate our company 1 star off solely that she would be a problem customer so Be aware of this owner.
